The Truth About Consistency
Why is it so hard to be consistent?
As someone who has struggled with consistency, I can relate to the desire to show up every single day and the feeling of guilt when that doesn’t happen.
But it’s important to remember that consistency doesn’t necessarily mean showing up every single day.
It can also mean showing up most days or a few times a week, depending on what you’re doing and how it aligns with your goals and values.
It’s important to listen to your body and not push yourself too hard.
It’s ok to take a break or even step away from something completely if you no longer feel passionate or interested in it.
This doesn’t mean you have failed to be consistent — it means you are honoring your own needs and prioritizing self-care.
It’s better to take a break and come back refreshed than force yourself to do something out of obligation or pressure.
The important thing is being honest with ourselves about where we are at and making choices that align with our needs and desires in the present moment.
And remember, consistency doesn’t always mean doing something every day…
It just means consistently showing up for yourself and making choices that support your growth and well-being.
Trust me, it’s worth it in the long run.
